"I will not sell, or ship to anyone in FRANCE !!"

I think it would probably be better and cheaper to just swap in an FD torsen LSD.

First of all, where are you going to put it?
Your .sig and profile says you own a base model.
You realize that this Torsen ONLY fits an FC turbo or FD rear end?

Second, the price is a bit high, but it's not unreasonable.
I've seen FD stock Torsen LSD's from Japan sell for about $200 or a little less.

If he doesn't want to swap out the rear end, he can get a Torsen unit from a Miata to fit in the N/A diff case.

Edit - I'll even include the link.

Wouldn't new vs. used be a good reason for that?

I think it's more like the Torsen is true aftermarket?
If I remember correctly (I could be wrong), but the FD stock Torsen doesn't look like that...
Anyone has a pic of a stock FD Torsen?

Yep. won't fit.

non turbo models uses a 7 inch gear/differential.

Turbo and FDs use 8 inch gear/differntial.

Not interchangeble at all without changing a lot of parts.

Nothing bolts up... the drive shaft is different the half shafts are different... if you have a base, then the only way that a LSD bolted in there is if it was not a Turbo differential but rather a non turbo from a GXL or something.

heard that story before... what makes you think it is a LSD? Do you have a window sticker??? Without a either a build sheet or window sticker saying the car came with one, the car didn't come with a LSD

And if it really does have a LSD (which I highly doubt) what makes you rule out a blown differential that some shop replaced with with a junk yard one from a GXL??

again why do you think you have one???

And what year do you have??? I can tell you right now that if you have an 88 and it is a north american model that it did not come with a LSD.

maybe he jacked up the car and rotated one of the wheels to see the opposite rear wheel spin the same direction? he said it was an s4 clutch type, right?
just a shot in the dark..
