eBay Seats... :\
I'm a bit scared to purchase these seats. They look pretty nice but they're $100 bucks and $150 shipping. That's pretty cheap. I wonder if they're gonna last. Anyone have any thoughts?

are u asking me how i installed them?
easy:
i used the stock rails and added a 1 1/2" metal bar, front and bad back. Measure up the holes on the seat and drill in the metal bars. Took a bit on the passenger seat though, different design then the driver seat. I posted the specs and a diagram when i installed them. Oh and make sure you drill the holes perfectly, just a little off and your gonna end up spending more time.

i bought them from this guy:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT
although it appears he isn't offering the same great deal i got, you can find them for a reasonable price still though, most are around $380-390 shipped.

they are a little bit ricey in appearance but they do get a lot of attention for the FC!
they hold relatively well even though they do not have super deep bolsters like some seats, they are also fairly comfortable as i use my car as my daily. i wiegh 180lbs and i'm 5'11". the passenger side still needs a little more work to be centered though as the mounts for the passenger side are funky to say the least...
i also tested the durabilty of them, they feel fairly solid in the recliner mechanism and in the seat back, i could feel no flexing and they are self stated 5 star rated for safety but i really don't know how true that is, all i know is they do feel like they are made fairly sturdy. they also state it is a woven carbon fiber material, the seats are not ultra light though due to the weight of their frame though, they are just slightly heavier than the stock T2 fabric seats.

the Netamis are woven carbon fiber, not quite as bad as leather and more durable than most fabric seats.
i will tell you i spent a couple of days looking at all of the seats from the cheapest to the most expensive and these fit right in the middle, decent price for nicely built seats.
only other brands i would semi trust are DAD and Megan for the cheaper line, if you want to spend over $500 i can list quite a few really nice names to look for.
