Ebay Intakes

Really quick, are the intake filter adapter kits on ebay any good? anyone get their filter off of e bay?....I have a 1986 mazda rx-7 non turbo and i'm just looking for something simple......thanx

Ps. do they have cold air intakes for my year?

i would say the vadapter would be fine off ebay.the filter would prob work but ide spend the extra pennys for a good one

I have that 8$ kit. An adapter is an adapter, and yeah the filter sucks ***. It's just as good as the 120$ K&N one(the adapter). Just buy a nice K&N cone filter.

im using the adapter and filter, it works fine but get the filter oil from k&n and just keep it clean.

i'd get the adapter off ebay and get a k&n or apexi filter to answer your other question they don't make cold air intakes for our cars they are custom made here's a link that tells you how to make one http://www.nopistons.com/forums/inde...&hl=custom+CAI

I got a cheapo off ebay. ITs not to bad. Beats the hell out of the stock airbox. But I've tried a blitz and I didn't see reason for spending $150 vs. $10.
