From what I have read on other forums people are satisfied with the quality, fitment, and ride of the MDU coilovers aka Form and Function.

I guess the only way to find out for sure is to buy them and test them out.

Very good call.

China is the king of rip offs, they can replicate nearly anything to the point where you can't tell the difference, down to the print on packaging. But seriously, just because these look like a replica of a knock off doesn't mean anything. The difference between any replica and the original isn't going to be visual, it's going to be in the manufacturing process, the quality of material and safety standards they adhere to. I don't care how many nissan pirates buy these, it's a huge risk.

^ I agree BUT not everything made in China is poor quality. Manufactures like Racing Beat, Tien, etc etc... have all turned to the cheap labors of China, or Taiwan, or whatever. It all depends on quality assurance and control, and testing and development.

I hate to dig this up but I was curious. I sent the seller a message asking for better pictures and any other information he could tell me, this is what he sent back in reply.

"hello sir
Pls find attached , we have stock now in red color.
Top mount plate is made of aluminum , the other parts made of steel.
Brand is MDU.
Thank you!"

This is the blog of someone who bought a set for his 240

http://www.myspace.com/zombypanda/blog/480520209

("Part 2" is on his blog if you look)

I still think I am going to buy an actual name brand set, but for what I am going to use them for (getting low, no track or auto x) these could work. I would really like to see someone with more knowledge test these first hand because if they actually are an $800 set of coilovers for $450... always love me a good deal

Don't buy godspeed, my friend got some for christmas drove it for two months in the snow then when he went to get a proper alignment three out of the four coilovers were blown and leaking and were pretty much rusted everywhere. He did however send pictures of them and got a new set under warranty.

ehhhr I generally don't like any cheap **** like Japanese & Chinese ripoff products. If you're not looking for performance gains or things like that just get some Functions & Forms. They're ok for the price you get them for. But if you're going to autocross or track you really want to invest in a good spring/shock combo or coilovers. Which means buying European aftermarket suspension because the Japanese cannot make good dampers to save there lives. Bilstein & Konis make really good shocks and will blowout the "high" end Japanese products like JIC's & Teins. It's sad that most of the suspension aftermarket for the FC's are all shitty Japanese ****. I really wanted some Ohlins for my 7
