maybe if you live around them and you need a parts car
Uhm, FCs are EFI, unless you modded it to carbureted. Which they don't mention. They have no idea what they're talking about pretty much.
The paint looks decent, but still a bad picture with soap on it.
It's only worth it if you live in the area so its not a hassle moving it, if you have space for a non-running car, maybe need a project/parts car.
"Our guess is that it needs carb."

actually I live about three hours south of them, so transport shouldn't be a problem, really. Aside from what the seller says, do you have any idea what may be the cause of the engine killing?
I would...
Looks alright, and for 250 u can't go wrong
Only problem i see is its AUTOMATIC!!!!!
look it over good and take a few more pics.
Better hurry too because theres a few other guys that are interested in that car too/

I'm noting that the trim on the passenger door is missing.
The problem as they describe it seems to be a fuel pressure problem. It could be the pressure regulator, or the fuel pump. Or the engine could be blown and they're describing it poorly. $1000 is nothing if you take a car to someone who has no idea what they're working on. They could have taken it to the family mechanic and he had no knowledge of rotaries.
If you're looking for a project car then go for it.

got an email back from the seller.
"All I can really tell you is that a younger girl had it before us, she used it for driving back and forth to work. What we had done to it, was a complete tune up, new battery, & I know that they replaced some kind of computer chip in it."
what computer chip could she be talking about?
she's obviously not a car person, so she can't really describe the problems well.
