yes, it's a transistor from radioshack, probably $.05 each, all it does is fool the ECU into thinking that the air is always a certain temperature (probably 68F) so that it'll keep the timing advanced instead of retarding it when the air heats up. It's quite the scam

whats the negative of doing this and how much does it really help? ive heard of advancing the timing for more power but i had also heard that advancing the timing on a rotary is not a good thing.What do you guys think?
