Do a full tune up before you start modding it. Please!

Use some sort of conventional oil in the motor, replace the oil filter.
Use synthetic in the tranny, and the rear-end.
Replace your air filter. If you're going for performance, get a K&N and build an air box around it. Be sure to make a duct for cold air to get into the air box.
Replace your fuel filter.
Make sure all your grounds are good. In the 2nd gen RX7, bad grounds can cause HUGE performance issues.

Do all this, and then we'll talk about performance.

How much faster do you want it to go?
How much more performance do you want it to do?
How much money are you willing to spend???

Nearly any car can make more then 50hp, depends on your budget and target (and what Ted mentioned).

And telling him to search just makes it tough, I searched "Beefy NA" and I could find is people that say to search ! Its in the archeives also FYI, a little bit easier then searching.
