easy fix or?

today I changed the alternator belt for the first time scince I bought my Turbo II. Everything was going great until I loosened the alternator to fit the belt onto the pully. It dropped low hitting metal and made a small spark. Thats right my dumbass forgot to unhook the battery or atleast check to see if the safety cap was on the alternator wire. I heard a small single click sound right before I realized what I did and raised the alternator back up and un hooked the battery. I didnt think much of it and finished the job. When I tried to start it nuthing happened. My lights, power locks work... My power windows and and starter dont. Also when I turn on the ignition none of the gauges or any of that come on like usual. Obviously I blew something but I can't seem to figure out exactly what. The service manual said something about a fuse between alternator and starter solenoid (if available) but I cant seem to find one. This is probably something really easy and I'm probably missing something. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Check the fuses under the drivers side dash board, then check the fuses in the front by the battery.
