???? I think you might be talking about the KnightSports kit.......http://rx7.com/pics/fc-ksheadlight.jpg the closest thing I can come up with that has two small lights, while keeping the pop-ups.

You can also buy them from www.rxecret7.com in their lighting page. It's like 950.00$ though. they do look pretty bad ***.

you guys talk as if $900 is too much.

design your own and see how much it adds up to. make sure you count how much time it takes too, not just materials.

any amount of money is too much, who cares what they look like when theyr up? the point is they light up the road, and stock does that... no need to waste money

Do those lights sit lower than stock? If so, anyone know the method that the kit uses to make the headlights only rise up to a certain height?

I am a college student with bills.........so, to me 900 is alot, maybe down the road when I am through school and bills are paid then MAYBE 900 bux will not seem like much.....I appreciate the value of money because I have been through hard times and knowing that you have 100 bux to last you 2 months, while you desparately search for a job, sux......many will say "dont own an FC then" and my response is, I love my car, and I will do the best I can to keep it and still thrive.

I personally think the Knigtsports kit is the most beautiful alternative to stock. I LOVE the Amemiya front end, but I'm usually known to keep things looking close to stock. $900 isn't that bad at all...it's quality that counts.

$900 is a lot. Thats almost half a months pay for some headlights. I could do a lot of other things to my car with $900 besides blow it on replacing the lights. In the end, you still see at night. To each his own though. I rather go fast than look good. My ultimate goal is to go so fast that nobody will see me. Then who cares if I got stock headlights or $900 headlights.

He said he was going to sell them. And in doing so he is going all the way to the bank with money spilling out of his pockets. I'm poor and I'd buy that.

I keep seeing your claim for the super inexpensive body kit but I remeber reading from you that at $400 for your hood you weren't really making that much. Then you factor in your time and honestly how much per hour are you making? Not much I'm sure. I have no idea how you plan to make a front bumper, sides and rear bumper for $1k... maybe with zero profit.

If that's how you work, that's fine, but someplaces try to making a living off their body parts, and there needs to be a profit margin to do that.

Heck a good set of 4 driving lights could run $200 easily and that only leaves $800 for the rest of the parts, which are at least double to 2.5 times the work of a hood.

Anyway, if you can do it great! More power too you and I'd love to see it.

As for the knight sports stuff, yeah it's kinda pricy and if you had the fabrication skills it could be done for less. But many don't and in a market where that is the only way to change the lights and keep the pops ups.... well, they have a monopoly and can charge what they want.
respectfully,

-Chris
