East Bear Kit Installed

Well, after about a year of trying to decide between choosing the RE 2000 or East Bear or keeping the popups lights. The decision was made.

Very nice

Looks really good, I think yours is the first vert I've seen with the east bear kit. It looks even better then it does on the coupes.

so, where'd you end up getting them from? and what did you pay? how was the install?

Looks awesome! I was planning on getting the East Bear kit, and now that I actually see it on a vert I'm definitely gonna get it.

I'm selling the low pro pop-ups I had on my car to Badboy on this forum.

Some might remember I was trying to develop a low pro pop-up kit to sell. That turn into a real nightmare.

Anyway, the East Bear kit came from Rotor Motor Sports and it was just over $700 with shipping.

Dunno if you guys are interested, but I'm working on making the East Bear style kit now that I have my own. I'm looking to have the cost around $450.

I'm hoping to have the first kit made in about a week and a half. It will be going to Dave Gibson of fc3s.org fame for evaluation before I continue. More info will be posted on his site as progress is made.

BTW, it would be a bit more expensive, but would there be any interest in having the pods made from carbon fiber? If so, I might have a limited run made like that.

Thumbs up

Props! Looks good... East Bear is a bit too expensive right now... I wish they were more sleeker. I mean, do the lights themselves stick out a little bit or do they run flush with the slope of the imaginary headlight cover?
