Lightbulb E-Ram/Eletric Superchargers on an Rx7

Hi there I was reading up on the E-Ram, and eletric superchargers...
tell me if you like the idea, and what you suggest doing to my stock N/A 13B (48,000 miles)

Eletric Supercharger (EBAY)
Average gain is 5 - 20 hp

or

E-Ram
1 PSI/1.7PSI
roughly 5hp per 100hp of current motor output

one of those two crossed with the

turbonator
as high as 20 horsepower and 24% increases in mileage

this would allow forced air induction crossed with a vortex intake
with a bare minumum of an extra 10HP to as high as 40HP
well increasing gas milage

the cost of this setup would be around.

159.95 - supercharger+turbonator
378.95 - E-Ram 1psi + Turbonator
638.95 - E-Ram 1.7psi + Turbonator

thanks for your imput

630 bones for only 1.5 psi?

you could get the same ammount of power out of a full race exhaust.

what do you think? of course it doesn't work i can fart in the general direction of my throttle body and get better results. the engine pulls more vacuum than the pressure they produce.

I hear the electric superchargers actually do work, but the turbonater is complete fiction. It obstructs your intake in an attempt to cause a whirlwind effect, which will do little to nothing to your fuel mixture even it did manage to do this, which it doesn't.

Electric surpercharging certainly works. Toyota was planning on using it for their new sportscar to get a 400HP 50mpg machine. However, the junk you're finding on ebay is crap and nothing but crap. If you want to spend the money and see if it does anything, go for it and prove everyone wrong. Or teach yourself a very expensive lesson.

the only eletric superchargers that are proven to make good power were made by knight, or john knight superchargers (something along those lines)

yeah and those were roots chargers strapped to three starter motors to turn it. Not a bathroom fan. To the thread starter, don't waste your money man.

Well that's an expensive investment, but I have yet to see someone actually do it.
Try it and let us know.
