E-Brake
hey guys the guy that i bought my 87 TII from NEVER used the e-brake. but my driveway is on a hill do i went to put on the e-brake and found that it doesnt work what so ever. I tightened up the cable that didnt work. i took off the wheels and found that the "things" that the cable pulls on where frozen. i got those unfrozen and tightend up the cable a little more. now when i have it on the stands and apply the e-brake its deffenitly harder but i can still turn the rotors. the pads r good and im fresh out of ideas. any help would be great.
thanks

Keep it in second, park a lil sideways if you can and pull the E-brake up as much as u possibly can. Thats all there is to do. If I were you to be safe I would put blocks behind the wheels at night.

Did you make sure that all of your hardware is there and intact? Is everything able to move? Did you go through the FSM and make sure that all the parts are working as they should? Also, I don't know this for a fact, but it seems possible. On the throttle cables of most cars, they can stretch out over time. Maybe this is a possibility in this case?
