dynotune after clutch on 1 bar - 188rwkw
Hey all,
Just some news. The clutch is in my car and done 1000 kms now, which means we can dyno it and increase the boost to see what it can safely handle. The workshop put it back on the dyno for free, pretty good guys. Anyways we got the boost to 1.2 bar, and the turbo sounded like it could keep going, but he didn't recommend it on the standard cooler. Anyways on 1 bar it ran 188rwkw, with 660 nM of torque at 140kms. Lots of mid range power. I'm pretty happy, was hoping it'd be an aftermarket turbo (still havn't looked under the heat shield), but likelihood is a standard one considering the power readout. It's obviously ported, mild extend port according to my mechanic, judging on sound. Anyways just wanted to say thanks for help in the past, and that my idle is still stuffed (as well as tacho dying, and grinding noise coming from behind speedo, so prob speedo cable too) so i'll probably have some more queries soon! This week i'm going to clean BAC valve and probably properly adjust the TPS using the resistance method, not the voltmeter method which my friend and i did.
Thanks again, Dan.
