dynomax muffler
i just bought a dynomax muffler for my 87 n/a rx
im going to custom weld a one pipe2.5 in. exhaust
is a dynomax muffler a good muff to go with? is it hi-flow? well thanks for ur .02 ahead of time

the dynomax Ultra flow is the best muffler if you ask me. I have installed several. the only thing is be sure to tell the guy putting it on... tell him to tuck it back as far as he can. then you get the longest tail pipe. make the tail pipe end about 1/2 inch past the bumper. this make the sould levels drop.
I had a guy not do this and it is way too loud. He put it on like those ricer guys. hanging out the back, my tip is the end of the muffler.
that is another thing... don't put a tip on it. 2.5" tip is plenty. if you do, it will be too loud.

i have the turbo flow or whatever the hell you call it.......i got the full cat back system from dynomax and it was a really good deal, i love the sound it makes, not too loud till you pound it, then it sounds like a chainsaw tripped out on acid.......nasty raspy tone......i love it!
