the dynomax catback

Does somebody know if the Dynomax catback has oval or round mufflers? The photo son the websites show the oval ones but say they may not be represent the actual parts...

They are round. I have them on my car right now. I would not use them if you have a header though, they sound like crap. If you have stock exhaust manifold and precats and main cat then it will be really quiet.

Hmm.. I have stock exhaust manifold, and just whatever cat I could get to replace my cat with broken studs, and the dynomax exhaust, and the exhaust is louder than stock.

Now if you want a loud exhaust, dynomax is probably not a good choice... I wanted to get a quiet one, and the dynomax could be a bit quieter... but it is not terribly embarrassingly loud.

"it will be really quiet" can be a bit deceiving, I think...

sounded great when i had them, i'm telling you man you need a presilencer to set the tone. Any exhaust on an FC ran straight back sounds like dooky thats why the RB systems have presilencers.

Well I had the dynomax on with stock manifold and cat and it was quiet as ****, I sat at a stop light and I thought my car was off. I did a few pulls to redline and it was still quiet.
