dynoed my car today........ annnnnndddddd..............

The first time i dynoed my fc i had : 137.8rwhp/115.5 lbs ft of torque.......... that was with just a full racing beat exhaust (headers to cat-back) and apexi filter....

thennnnnn...... i got wires/factory plugs/rebuilt engine with street port/ underdrive pullies and im at.........141.6rwhp and 127.4 lbs-ft of torque .......

and im confused......... i know street porting doesnt add much power, but does anyone know why i might have gained so much torque over horses???????
<--- as you can tell by these im really confused... my tranny whines alot ... i think that might be a reason ??? loss in power thru tranny?? i dunno...........
well any feed back or comments are welcome

dyno result here: http://www.telusplanet.net/~lui/EDWIN.jpg

Are your 5th/6th ports operating properly?? If they are stuck shut your torque will rise, but your HP will drop off dramatically in the top end.

Fairly large street port? I think its just the reality of n/a's...looks like you were making hp all the way to 7k though, porting probably helped that over a stock port motor, which stop making power at like 6-6.5k. Get the trans checked out and go from their. How does the car feel compared to a near stock setup?

HP climbs to 7k though? Are the ports wired or working off pressure?

Ya but the toque drops off really bad, it should stay pretty flat.

Is their really anything wrong? I mean street porting can add like 10-15 hp with decent size ports...only mods I would think that would really be noticeable that he has are full exhaust ....I mean, people are having to do crazy size ports to "hope" for 200rwph (ie flybye's port, awsome n/a but all that work for 220rwhp goal), and that was on a S5.

My car has similar mods, and Im pretty damn sure it has more than 140 rwhp. Take your car to a drag strip and tell us how that goes.

need to see a dyno graph with the afr's plotted, get on a dyno with a wideband input. You might just need some tuning. Greatest ports in the world won't make **** for power if the engine management is not cooperating.

replace your tranny and rear-end fluid with correct weight oil. If it whines you may be low on oil, and if the oil is too thick it will also rob horses. If the tranny is low, that would be a lot of friction.
I know RarestRX got 140 rwhp with only bolt on stuff. You should make at least about 160 with your mods. Try pulling codes and stuff and just do a general tune up.

i think i might have the solution to this... the timing was adanced with the rebuild so that might be a problem

rotary>piston im running 75W90 royal purple tranny and axle gear in both my tranny and axle ... changed a month ago and everything was good no leakage etc.. so i dont think it would be that

you could get an S-AFC. It may solve your problem, and will give you more horses even if the car was running perfect.
