I recently acquired an '86 NA. It needs a new exhaust system before it can pass emissions. I figure I might as well install something nice, but I don't want to be loud- just perform better than stock. I've read that singles perform better than duals and that they are quieter. If you were in my shoes and you wanted your ride to NOT sound like a weed-wacker, what would you buy? I need new cats too, but I'm looking for something a little less pricey than the Bonez ones.

For now I want to pass emissions without spending too much. Also, I will be doing a general tune-up so another set of Qs:
1. What spark plugs to get?
2. What wires to get? -- Magnacore?
3. Where to find the items above cheap...

One last thing. I am all new to the world of Rotary performance, but I love to hit the tracks. This car is destined to be fast, but I must start with the basics. Is there any suggested reading? I've been reading a lot about 6th port removal, etc, but I can't find any articles on the procedure, etc... Dump the info on me guys. I'm counting on you.
