dummy light seatbelts
in the center dummy console, the stupid seatbelt light comes on every 5 seconds while driving and usually stays on the hole time im driving, its been kinda beeping annoyingly ever since i got the car in august, and im about to just cut the wire to the seatbelt light.
Any suggestions?

hahahaha, i wish i werent, then it wouldnt be a problem
But yeah, i have the electronic seatbelts, and i buckle up the lap ones too and never disconnect the electric...maybe i'll take it into mazda and bitch till they fix it for free complaining about seatbelt lifetime warrenty hehe..

I had this fixed on my rx7. It's the sensor/retractor switch in the seat belt retractor between the seats. There is an updated sensor that permanently fixes this. Ask mazda for part # FC01-57-924 and check alldata.com if you need the repair info.
Note alldata's not free, but it's well worth getting a subscription for your car.
Love my autobelts. Adds to the whole sports car experience and the mazdaspeed seat belt pads work better with the autobelts.
