Apparently, like the FD, the RX8 runs a constant flow heater system...the FC however, does not.
Since flow can be cut off, using that adaptor would work poorly, especially if placed in the return line.

I planned in just running it in the line below the intake manifold. I have coolant flow deleted form the intake, so I can just put it into the loop the I have across the top of the keg, right?

This is seriously the stupidest god damn thing ever. None if the fittings work anywhere in this car.

Stupid stupid stupid... I'm about to just throw one into one of the hoses and say **** it. My Haltech will damn near shut the car down if I overheat anyway..

Jesus bro just weld the adaptor to the housing and it will all be ok.

You want more of a project take the waterpump housing off and weld the adapter there

Lol ok, so I picked up a drill bit and tap and plan on just putting into the t-stat housing... Lets see how this goes.

C Ludwig sells them.
I'm already using that sensor. This was for my in dash setup. I tapped into the front if the water pump housing and put the sender right across the Haltech sender. So they should read the same temps give or take.

Easy ****.

let us know if the mechanical sensor fits in the top without that spacer I was talking about. Im trying to remember if I had it welded on to be simple or because I needed the clearance

I was mistaken. I don't have a mechanical sensor. I bought short sweep ones.
