Dumb Question of the month
ok guy and gals. I know you should not mix different brands of oil. But what about coolant? I generally use Prestone but I have a gallon of Texaco. Can, or should I mix them?
I told you it was a dumb question! For the price of a gallon of Texaco coolant I could be 1) Safe 2) not bother you. But I have a need to know?

Opinions are like........
Dumb answer of the month:
Yes you can mix. Maybe you should. Maybe you shouldn't. Depends on what type of Texaco/Prestone that you use.
If it is green and your car has green, then mixing is ok.
If it is not the same color as whats in the car, then mixing is not ok.
If it says 5/150 or 5/100 or dexcool, do not use.
BTW, oils can be mixed.
