crap, did i buy the wrong bulb?

Ok, i knew the original question was dumb and i felt like more of an idiot when i went outside for attempt number two and the ligth assebly fell out into my hand. So now thats all over with but i have another issue.

I had a fog light out in my car so i got the replacement bulb it told me to. IT was the H3 55 watt bulb i think. The only problem is, this new bulb only has one connector coming off of it. Can is still use it?

btw, can i change the title on this so its more relevant and i feel like a little less of a moron?

yes you can use the new bulb with one wire coming out of it. do a search and their is a right up somewhere on how to install the new h3 bulb.

i don't have factory fogs on my car, but my buddy does. i believe you can simply seat the H3 bulb you bought in the casing and ground out the wire using a little screw to connect it to the casing of the fog light somewhere. my buddy figured this out by opening up an off the shelf fog light and looking at how the h3 bulbs were mounted in them. his work fine.
