Well I have been told that synthetic creates more carbon buildup but I am going to do the ATF trick every once in a while so it won't matter too much. Thats just what I have been told. I know alot of people who use Castrol GTX.
Well in short the "ATF(automatic transmission fluid) trick is a trick that cleans the carbon deposits out of your engine. Do a search by clicking "search" in the top right corner. Also if you go in the lounge they have a topic there with some good info and directions on how to do it.
WHICH OIL VISCOSITY ????
Synthetic oil is great stuff, but an over kill and too spendy, I`ve put 246,000 Miles on my car with conventional oils { Valvoline and Castrol} What you need in your RX is an oil with a low % of ash, and a low zinc content !!! Zink causes sparkplug fouling !!!
Check out this web site, great stuff !!!!edh@maxey.unr.edu
I`D RECOMEND vALVOLINE TOURBO 10/30 IN YOUR CLIMATE !!!!
