dumb brake question

I was wondering if the front brake rotors were the same thing as the back brake rotors on the 91 fc? I have the 5 lug wheels so if they're the same thing i'm just gonna get 4 of the same rotors unless they have different sizes and whatnot. thanks in advance and yea sorry for the dumb question.

Front and rear are different, and any decent shop should know this. You may want to order from a better dealer like Tire Rack. The Brembo Replacement Rotors are inexpensive yet very good quality.

Not only are the fronts and rears different but there are two types of rear rotor (vented and solid), which are not interchangeable either (unless you swap calipers too).
NAPA is not a bad source.

Heads up though. When I tried to order from Tire Rack, they said that the Brembos are currently on back order. I ordered mine from Advanced Auto instead.

You must use the one that matches your caliper.
The calipers are functionally identical...same rebuild kits, same pads, etc...but the body of the vented rotor version is slightly wider.

Replace your rear rotors with the same type you already have.

Vented Rotors have vanes in the vent so when they spin the vanes push Hot air from the center out. This is a major advantage to say drum brakes where the hear stays locked inside a drum.
