Question dual to single exhaust and RB header?

couple of questions:

1) I want to convert to a single exhaust, what is everyhting i will need to do it? and is everything normally included in the "cat-back system" kits?

2)Does anyone have the racing beat header? does it:

a-bolt right up with aboslutly no problems?
b-really make that much of a difference in an N/A?

thanks all, i really am more curious about the ability to purchase a single exhaust kit and bolt it up with no problems myself because i really want to avoid labor fees, but then again, i dont do much work to the car myself, thanks again

so all i basically have to do is remove the exhaust manifold and it should bolt right into place? it isnt longer or shorter than necessary? sorry for being weird, but i dont want to spend almost 200 dollars on something and then find out that i need to buy more stuff to make it all fit right.

thanks, eric

If you buy a header, you'll have to buy a

1) Presilencer
2) "Test Pipe" ( Just a length of pipe, so it will reach the cat-back )
3) Mazdatrix sells a bolt in cat

With JUST the header, I believe you'll either be 17 or 20 inches short of connecting to the cat-back.

so a test pipe will take up that slack space? is that what it is called? Who makes a good "test pipe" and what do they normally run?

Also, this "bolt in cat," cant i just leave the cat that i have there, or do i need to buy a new one? Or is this cat taking place of the "test pipe?"

sorry about this, but i am a newbey and am not sure, i want to get all the info before i start buying. thanks.

***oh ya, i read somewhere about having to re-locate the O2 sensor, is this true? if so, it is hard or costly?

thanks, eric
