The Cat-Back system does not calim the 60 HP..... its the Full Exhaust that claims the 60 HP.... the Cat-back will get you 5-7Hp... You have to eliminate the cats and let the boost rise to get the 60HP by installing the full system.

HOWEVER... the RB catback is the best quality peice of exhaust work i have ever owned.

as for you single system dorks...... WHY???? The car was designed for TWO mufflers, the TWO mufflers will flow better than a single with less noise, and a deeper tone, Besides, when you put a single ont it, now you are left with a hole on the other side and it looks retarded!!

As for you dual dorks.lol. I have a single and it isnt overly loud by anymeans. Look at the back of my fc, is there 2 holes cut for the exhaust? Are you sure that it will flow better? I have heard otherwise that single flows better because the air doesnt get divided. Could be wrong though..

Dual flows better. You just have to use the correct components.

Does RB duals flow better than other singles available? Coz that's what I have and I was planning to change over to single.

There doesn't seem to be anything here that is not in the thousands of "dual vs single" exhaust threads already out there. Unless someone has anything NEW to add, consider this topic done.

AFAIK nobody's ever done any independent comparisons of various manufacturers' exhausts. Saying the X brand single flows better than the Y brand dual (or vice versa) is pointless without some proof or at least some applied engineering. If you know the pipe sizes you can make a reasonable estimate of which system will probably flow best, but there are other variables like build quality (particularly weld penetration into the airflow) and muffler design/construction.

I believe the RB dual system only uses 2.25" pipes after the Y, so a single 3" will probably flow better (but it'll be a lot louder). It'd be a different story if they were 2.5" pipes.
