dual belt

i bought a dual belt alternator pulley from a friend put it on and removed the smog pump didnt feel much difference in power.

i took it into machine shop at school and machined an alluminum and felt more power than i thought i would it is definately worth buying an alluminum

all that the dual alt belt pulley is supposed to do is to keep the belt from slipping on the water pump. but if you get more power out of it then i'll have to look into getting an alluminum one.

i have mazda racing underdrive pulleys with the dual alternator belts, i really didnt notice any power difference.

well my 5th and 6th ports arent opening so anything feels like more

think alluminum would be just a lil extra *bling* but hey, looks better than racing beats probably. try the under drive pulleys, not a bad investment.

Only 15% of the 2-5 hp that honda guys get are from the pulley being smaller, all the rest comes from weight., or so I read somewhere on the internet........
