when you have an airpump on, that means there are 2 belts going to the wanter pump, so the belt wont slip, thus not turning the water pump and eventully over heating....... the dual alt pully makes 2 belts come of the altinator so the water pump doesnt slip at high rpms... a must when you remove your air pump..... so they do alot if you dont have an airpump, otherwise... yeah ya get it? and i hate to say it but search dude

Yeah, I have the Knight Sports dual pulley (came on the car) and one of the belts touches slightly and makes a constant whining sound, does anybody know what size belt is right for boht the front and back. Thanks

Normal driving and drag racing wont make it slip. It slips when youre at high RPMS for longer periods of time. My old FC had 1 belt on, the car would start heating up and I could hear the belt slipping while roadracing. After the 2nd belt was put on, the temp went down and the belts didnt slip anymore.
