Drivetrain vibration cause by a brand new drive shaft?

HI! I just replace my driveshaft due to some u-joint play and i started having this vibration from around 60+. I didn't get this vibration with 2 orginal (junk yard) driveshafts. The driveshaft i got is from a reputable store and i have already exchange the driveshaft ones for the same problem. What could cause such vibration? I clean the diff flag area for dirt and the driveshaft flange seems to be smooth and clean. I also rotate the shaft 180 degree but the vibration only got worst. If anyone have any ideal of why this is happening please let me know. Thanks! By the way the orginal driveshaft doesn't cause any vibration when i put it back on.

Sounds to me like the driveshaft needs to be balanced. You isolated it by putting the old one back on, so the new driveshaft seems to be the likely culprit.

I had to get a driveshaft that I got from Mazdatrix balanced locally It was one of their aftermarket ones, not the one made by Mazda. NOT pleased. This happened a couple of years ago.

Yeah, one would assume that new driveshaft would be balanced, but thats not always the case. I would take it back to the place you bought it from and have them balance. I would get them to do it for free if it was me.

Thanks for the replys i think i would just take it back the place. I just really wanted the replaceable u-joints opinion. I wonder how much a v8 shop would charge for balance. Again thanks i just though i was doing something wrong since i got 2 new driveshafts.

it could also be that the U joint isnt spaced properly. Usually manufactuor error. If you bought it on ebay, then I am almost sure that is the problem. If you are looking for and aftermarket driveshaft, I recommend mazdatrix.

I would not. Maybe buy a factory one from them, but no aftermarket ones anymore.
