Drivetrain vibration after some hard breaking

I was cut off by a battleship (read: female captain in her SUV) on the highway pretty badly - I slammed on the brakes and went from 80mph to 20mph in a hurry.

2 questions:

1) Rear end qicked out pretty quick once tires locked up (no ABS apparently ) - is this normal? Tires have even wear. I braked hard a few times heading home and the same thing happened. My weekend car doesn't do this (although it's got ABS).

2) There's a slight vibration in the drivetrain now. Inside the cabin it sounds like theres a helicopter buzzing above the car. I can feel the shifter vibrating at highway speeds, and the rearview mirror DEFINITELY shows that something's wrong. It shakes alot. This is such a broad question I don't know what to search for.

It's as if one of the tires is severely-misalinged all of a sudden. Car pulls a bit to the right now.

Did I break something? Bend something? I'm going to take her to a mechanic and have him lift up the car so I can take a look underneath.

Well you may have warped the discs a little, thats a definite possibility.

But its more than likelya combination of tire balance, aging brakes and aging drivetrain components like the driveshaft (u-joints specifically) and halfshafts. I would suggest getting the ires balanced and brakes inspected/changed then go from there.

check engine mounts in addition to the above information. The stock mounts are not very strong.Ive seen a broken motor mount on several cars and they will cause drivetrain problems, shops love these because if you dont see the broken mount they will rape you for anything they can come up with. Also check the driveline.I dont think hard braking could bend or distort it but you never can tell.
