Is it just me, or is there very little difference between the T2 and the NA. the NA is a bit longer, but i thought it was going to be REALLY thin compared to the T2 drive shaft from the way the T2 people talk. As it looks, i think i might be okay with the NA drive train and my 200hp project.
Thanks for the pics!!!

Hehe, I all but snapped a uni off my N/A manual driveshaft.
Is was worn a little bit to start with (only 127,000km's... but i suspect bad tranny/engine mounts did the damage) but then after a little whee burnout it was hanging together by the thinest of margins...
shaking and carrying on even going the ~20km/hr on my 1km trip home.
only found out how bad it was the next day.
Bloody lucky it didn't snap, moral of the storey? Make sure your uni's are in good shape.

you are supposed to have the third Driveshaft if you have a 5spd NA..........I THINK the second one is an NA AUTOMATIC driveshaft while the third is a TII driveshaft(as he said in the beginning.) Very very interesting car you have there.....care to post some pics?

I'm not sure if the thick driveshaft is unique to the Sport, or if it was just the standard driveshaft on the earlier models. Maybe some of the 86 RX-7 owners can help?
