I never actually had to mess with any driveshaft on either of my FCs, but I do know that the stock driveshaft doesn't have replaceable U-joints. You can buy the Mazdatrix one that has them or you can take it to a driveshaft shop and see what they can do.

There are U-Joints available from Rockford that can be used. It is best to have a driveshaft shop do it so they can re-balance the assembly.

Here is the thread for the details:

Buy a new one, or if money is tight get a used one. Driveshaft shops can put new joints in by running a bead around the caps, but then it needs to be balanced. Some have said that they do not notice any vibration unbalanced. I'd personally buy a new one and be done with it.

You could just get one from a junkyard car, much cheaper.
Why get a fiber one? Have you ever lifted a Driveshaft? They are light as hell even in metal, and they are so thin that the rotational mass is almost nothing. Not worth the money IMO.
