Drivers side window cable broken
Drivers side window cable broken
OK so my drivers side electric window cable is broken, how would I go about fixing that? Could i just go buy some cable for it and rehook it up with complete dissassembly of the door, or would anybody here have any tips for me on how to do this?
Much appriciated,

I remember someone posting a how to to fix this problem. Involves using bicycle brake cable.
But, best and easiest is to buy a used replacement. E-bay, parts trader, this sites buy/sell forum. About $150 or so.

I tried the bicylce method and couldn't get it to work, but the spindle that the cable wraps around was toast. If you can fix it this way it'd be ALOT cheaper. I paid $450 for one from Mazda...
