any vert owners with non working windows?
just sharing info if you have a power window on your vert thats not working..ther is an easy way to fix it without spending 90 bucks on a used that will fail again.
what fails is the cables break..same as the cables on your bicycle..when these break it usually breaks the plastic pulley type guides that direct the cable correctly....when you take your door apart and get the regulator out the top part usually is broken (probly laying in the bottom of your door) you can simply screw a screw through the plastic and metal part of the regulator..which simply puts it back in the place its supposed to be.......drill a pilot hole first...then you take the old cables out and save them to measure the length....buy new cables at walmart for 5 dollars..cut to size...put a butt stop....called a ferrule for the wire cables...anyways if there is interest i have a write up. id be happy to send....save 70 bucks and spend an hour doing it..the motor never seems to go bad..so its a fix that can last a lifetime
just posting cuz ive just done this..after months of searching for the supposedly obsolete 89 vert regulator that costs 40 bucks more than any other one....thats bullshit..just do it your self!! theres no difference!!
