Drivers side Airbags? Possible?

Is it possible to have airbags installed into a 1988 FC? I really do need them I was riding passenger and was seriously injured in a accident 6 months or so ago. I would have died without my seatbelt.

I've looked it up and haven't found much so if someone could help me out or point me in the right direction... If even possible that would be great.

Oh btw new to the forum Ive had my burgundy 88 RX-7 for two weeks now. Quite a change from my 1999 Honda Prelude haha.

**** airbags. get a harness. I was in a head on accident 8 months ago with both cars going about 55mph and the airbag broke my nose and the seat belt broke my collar bone. I also herniated my L5/S6 disk. I would of much rather have a harness then a seatbelt and airbag.

The airbagged steering wheel from a third gen (FD) will bolt on but after that you're on your own.
Your car has none of the required sensors or computers and retrofitting them would be a nightmare I think.

Harness, seat, rollbar would be your beat bet.
