hey guys, my speedometer stopped working all of a sudden on the freeway, so i checked the cable and found the gear in the transmission messed up, take a look

the teeth were all worn out, so i replaced it with another one since i had a spare transmission and it wore that one too in a week, I noticed that there was little to no oil when i removed the driven gear, I thought the transmission oil was pushed forward of the transmission since i had the car jacked up from the rear of the car, should there be plenty of oil there because im just guessing that maybe not enough oil wore this driven gear very fast
how much are these parts, or where could i order these, are the s4 and s5 driven gears interchangeable

1. you should check the oil level in the trans, and B the drive gear is pretty easy to change, but trans needs to come out of the car, and tail housing needs to be removed

oh wow really the housing needs to be removed to install the driven gear, I must of done it wrong, all I did was remove the bolt for the drive gear and remove it, then I put the replacement by not remiving the tail housing, fo I just remove the bolts for the tail housing and then use gasket maker to re seal it
