Driveability Issues

I have an issue with transient throttle. quick stabs and the motor bucks... I have talked to a friend and he said that the map sensor on the engine needs some type of vacuum dampening inorder to smooth out readings to the ECU.
I cant really replicate the quick load changes on the dyno.
Has any one heard of that being an issue?

I am running a Haltech ECU.

The stock MAP sensor does have a restrictor pill in the vac line to dampen the signal.

Mazdatrix sells something just like it for about $5. One can make their own, though.

I think the Dorman one I linked should work fine. If it is just a restrict or to slow down the pressure differential.

This has been an issue with my tune for years. and its been so annoying.

Don't think so, it's too big.
The orifice in the stock pill is about 1/16".
