Driveability Issues
I have an issue with transient throttle. quick stabs and the motor bucks... I have talked to a friend and he said that the map sensor on the engine needs some type of vacuum dampening inorder to smooth out readings to the ECU.
I cant really replicate the quick load changes on the dyno. Has any one heard of that being an issue? I am running a Haltech ECU. |
The stock MAP sensor does have a restrictor pill in the vac line to dampen the signal.

Mazdatrix sells something just like it for about $5. One can make their own, though. |
I think the Dorman one I linked should work fine. If it is just a restrict or to slow down the pressure differential.
This has been an issue with my tune for years. and its been so annoying. |

The orifice in the stock pill is about 1/16". |
