Drive Train Noises

So last night as I was coming home from work and came to a yellow light so i steped on the gas hard to go before it turned red. When I got above 4000 rpm i heard this clanking, clicking noise noise.

The noise only comes out when im flooring the car and its above 4000 rpm. If i just go above 4000 by just slightly stepping on the gas and let it sit there it won't make the noise. This noise also seemed to just come out of no where because early when I was going to work driving fast it wasn't making that noise.

So anybody got ne ideas to what it is.

Does it do it in every gear? Or only one or two gears? Or when you're in neutral? I had trouble parsing your description.

Note: Testing high RPM in 3rd 4th, and 4th is not recommended in all jurisdictions.

so far i have heard it in 1st and 2nd not 3rd. But now the noise does not always come up. The noise is coming from the middle i believe.

I had this similar problem but it also made the noises in very low rpm like 1500
it was my drive shaft, wasn't spinning straight. Could possibly be the U-Joints need greasing, how the pumpkin is sitting on the shaft.

Also if you have bad cambers these problems won't correct themselves even after fixing these.
