drive line shuddering

Just got my T04R kit / rebuilt motor back. Went through the break in period and changed the oil. Out warming it up, slowly increasing the RPM and on a full throttle 2nd gear pull, started getting vibration through the shifter. The vibration is present in neutral, with the clutch in and out. Car drove really rough on the way home, but the clutch worked fine. Car motor idles fine, but there is still some vibration through the stick.
Was looking for the things to check on before I drag it down to the tranny repair facility.
Man this car is getting expensive...

I'd check the front U-joint first.

How would that account for a vibration in nuteral? The driveshaft isn't moving.

How are your engine and tranny mounts?

i had a similar issue but it was my clutch plate surface had broken.
i only felt the shudders when moving and in neutral and when in gear and moving.
it made the disc un balanced.

Oops, I missed the vibration in neutral point.

I like that one.

Any engine to body (metal to metal) contact will make a normal vibration seem bad.

bad tranny mounts.

does stick kinda rock side to side a little during idle?
if so, i'm sure that it's the tranny mounts.
