Downpipe + stock turbo?

Will a 3" downpipe bolt on to a stock turbo, or do I have to go 2.5"?

Will it bolt on to the stock y pipe?

the DP has to have the same bolt pattern as the turbo. it's a triangular desing. check out www.thunderfabrications.com and they make this crazy DP, MP cat-replacement single piece pipe. All 3" and bolts up to your cat back. It's a good thing you're getting a DP first and not a cat-back. Get rid of your biggest bottlenecks first, and then go from there. IF you need any more info feel free to PM me.

The thunderfab was EXACTLY what I was looking at!

I have ported my wastegate past the lip.... so I figure I should be good for 10 psi. I may later port it more and weld a valve to it. SHOULD have gone ahead and done that, but I was pressed for time and I only have an arc welder.

My cats are bad. No emissions checking. Emissions are already shot on this car. Might as well get some xtra power out of it!
