One day the tables will turn and the S4 lights will sell on ebay for $300

 

I dont have anything against S5 tail lights, I just happen to like my S4's more. I think they look nicer, but thats just me.

stupidest thing i have ever heard..yeh most people cant tell its a rx7 if they have a s4 unless they have s5 lights..LOL

 

The Mazda RX-7 badges aren't a dead give away? Or the ear bleeding exhaust?

 

I love my s4 and love the bumper and rubstrips.
I like the taillights, but think I will still end up swapping in some s5 tails. They just look so good

plus dual circle taillights are a rotary trademark sorta

 

I wouldn't really call that a downgrade.

Hmmm must have missed that on all earlier RX-7 models... since no RX-7 before the S5 (that would be 4 versions before the S5) had round lights.

 

I like S4 lights much better. S5 looks a little ricer in my opinion

 

I prefer S4's over S5's but I like a couple S5 things like the tail lights. Never imagined anybody would prefer S4 lights.

So... you selling your s5 tail lights?

 

I swapped out the S4 for S5 lights a long while ago but still have the complete set (with licence plate - very good shape). Let me know if you need it.

I dont think round lights match the square lines of the car. I like my s4's but I think I'd like the turn signal and reverse lens to be tinted. red on top black on the bottom. done deal.

Earlier RX-7s didn't have round taillights, but they DID have taillight designs that were closer to the S5 with a line of "invisible" horizontal lights that lit up in section. Not round, but still closer then the S4 lights. I see the S4 lights as the odd ones.

 

i simply hate how tht diffuser plate makes them look, if you take that plate out the s5's look pretty kick *** but with it...yuck

i think what makes them rice is that people are really paying $300 for tail lights. i dont think ill ever pay 300 for taillights even if i owned a s5.....id be like *** it get me one of those $20 s4 tails. all they are is what losers look at

S4 tails here...they just look better...used to like s5s but the s4s have grown on me ALOT.
