doweling

i have just come across this site and it seems most interesting.

i am currently rebuliding my fc with the idea of a daily drive and the odd quarter mile pass

my question is if it is worth putting in extra dowels or is it just a waste of time. i will be doing extended port to4 turbo front mount, 3 mm seals larger injectors and microtech computer i want to run about 12 pounds street trim and up to 18 for those hardcore days.

i know what dowels are and what they do i, but what i want to know is were they are added in and how to do it.

I am in napier new zealand and the rotary following is small so i will need to do as much home work as possible on the dowels before i put everything back together. I will have a local engenerring company to do the work but i need specs, how to do it and were they go

any help would be greatly appreciated

Waste of time. Only worth the effort on very high power/high boost engines.
