double top mount intercooler

anyone ever seen something like this before?

I haven't seen one like that before. Most people who weld them together have the knowledge to realize that method is horribly inefficient, and may even work worse than just one core because the airflow will never make it through a thick design like that unless the car is moving at very high speed. Most people weld them together in parallel (side by side) or series (end to end) as opposed to stacked like that. Parallel is the best option, but series is OK if you don't have the room for parallel.
