Doorhandle Locks?
I got new outer doorhandles for my right and left sides, since BOTH were indeed FUBAR.
However, I thought I could just swap the locks out and be good to go, but I dont think the locks even work with the keys i have!
Can I get new locks somewhere with keys? Like the dealership, or does anyone have a lock set with keys?
I would get keys made for the locks with my new doorhandles, but they are from two different cars.
What are my options? Anyone with advice gets muy thanks

Mazdatrix (www.mazdatrix.com) sells complete sets of locks with keys, I belive its like $75 for them all (doors, hatch, and ignition) but am not sure if you can buy them seperately. Or just keep an eye out and post a wanted ad on this forum or others, many people part out cars with good lock sets and key, and you can pick them up for cheap.

you can take your existing locks, or the new ones to a locksmith, and he can change them to fit your current keys...thats what i had to do.....he set itup in like 10 minutes....worked great ever since

Cool, I had a locksmith do the same thing.
For anyone who is wondering the same thing I was, using an ordinary locksmith to just fit them to the keys I had.
$25 for one lock.
So $50 to open my doors, not too shabby.
