Door is stuck closed

so after a night of spirited driving, i found out that my drivers side door was stuck closed with me still in it. so thinking it was a simple problem, i removed all the screws except for the one by the ac vent that we can only get to when the door is open. peeking through the gap made by the door panel i verified that it was neither the outside or interior door handles giving me a problem, the problem is in the latch or one of the actuators by the latch. i was looking at the FSM and im having trouble figuring out where the problem might be. anyone else have this problem before? i searched "door stuck" "broken door" and i keep finding people with handle problems, i need help... someone please help me.

are you posting from inside your car? if not, there is yet some hope

I'd pull the panels all the way off and trace the mechanicals to the issue. Pliers will likely come in handy.

i have been climbing across my car from the passenger side to get in and out of it. i need a diagram of how the latch part works, i have guaranteed that it has nothing to do with either handle, and im 90% sure that its in the latch that connects with the body. somebody help!

Diagram? Why not take off the passenger door panel to watch the mechanisms work, then operate whatever opens the driver door. I'll bet it's a plastic clip that broke.
