Door Panel compatibility

Are the door panels on all FC trim models and years compatible with each other? I have a base model S5 with doors that have no side pockets and the circular fabric speaker covers. Was looking to swap it for one with pockets and the nicer speaker covers. Thanks for the help.

You need to take into account whether your car has electric windows or not. If you have electric windows then I believe the panels are compatible, but if you have manual windows then you need to take into account whether the door crank will come into contact with the new panel with the bottom storage component. Try checking on your carto see how low the window crank goes at its lowest point then look at some pictures of the newer panels on this site as in the for sale section and make a comparison to see if it is a go. If you then believe that the crank will make contact on the newer panel you have to ask yourself if you could modify it in some way to make it work, like shorten the handle and put the **** higher up on the cranker or not use the plastic backing which comes with the newer door panels thus maybe allowing the crank to drop into the open part of the bin and still be able to crank the window either up or down.
