Question new turbo, fine for 3 hours, now it stalls out.. HELP!!!

ok, for the past few months, i have been trying to get my tubo ii back on the road. it had overheated and blew an oil seal in the turbo. i went ahead got an used stock turbo(12k mi) off of ebay and got everything back together this past friday and solved the overheating. it idled and ran fine for few hours, except it smoked a little from the exhaust and more when i got into it. i was surprised it ran so fine considering it had sat for about 4 months, (yes, the 93octane is also 4months old). on my way back from test drive, it stalled out at a light. started it right back up, but it died again. to keep it running i had to give it good amount of gas to keep the idle at above 1500rpm. i did manage to get home. my a/f meter was reading very lean mixture and boost gauge was reading low vac when i kept it idling. so i assumed there was loose hose, creating a large vaccum leak. i checked all the hoses, TID, and nothing seemed to be loose. havent tried the carb cleaner method, but my guess is if it's a vac leak big enough to stall the car out immediately, i would be able to see it. besides the mods i've listed below, i have full TB mod and also removed the ACV w/ block off plate, but i still have the pipe to the cat attached... any ideas would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Check for loose hoses. Anything you might have touched. Intercooler hose blown off maybe?

After that, yeah... check the compression.. you might have done some damage with the overheating...

Ya, overheating a 7 definately does alot of damage, overheating is just about as bad as them puking up an apex seal.
