My door handles have gone the way of many others from what I hear. On the driver side the door handle itself is broken and I guess new ones are $275 ea?? The Passenger door's lock cylinder broke and I removed it. The passenger side door broke in a way the the door won't actually open from the door handle if the locking mechanism is engaged. I had to rip the door cover off from the inside with the door CLOSED to get at the rods.

ANYWAYS I'm tired of all this BS and I want shaved door handles and kicker solenoids since it'd cost the same amount of money to replace the stock equipment. Has anyone done this and maybe can point me to a kit for sale?

I think older MX-6's had similar door handles (Or was it 626?). They are usually easy to find at the junkyard...

Door poppers are a whole other can of worms though... lol

i used to think they would be super expensive too, until i actually checked.

 

ebay is full of inexpensive door poppers. haven't tried any yet, I have bigger fish to fry.
