door handle bulb is burnt out, can i replace it with new bulb.? how ,I do not see any way to get the bulb out .

door handle out I am all the way to tht bulb how do i get the 2 white wires off and new bulb in ps this is a 1990 vert

Cut the wires and solder on a new bulb. If you dig around a wrecked 2nd gen, you'll find lots the same size pressed into twist holders in like the Cruise switch, HVAC module, etc. I've done this a number of times.

Just be careful putting it all back together so that the wires don't get nicked by the locking mechanism.

Be sure and use some shrink tubing or the like as you see needed to remove chance the two leads might short out against each other after install.
