My driver's side door is completely jammed. Will not open at all. About a week before this happened, there was some sound deadening stuff that seemed to melt and stick all over the inside of the window when I had put it down once.

Anyways... I think the entire locking mechanism is covered in this stuff and I don't really know what to do. It makes a clicking noise when I try to open the door by the latch. I do have power locks and I do have keyless entry, but no matter how many times I put the locks up and down, it will not actually unlock.

Am I screwed?

 

See if you can 'jimmy' it open. CAA should have the right tools if you don't.
